From what I've seen , Max says , when a woman tries  to persuade  a guy , put pressure on him , or show him how  amazing  she is, it's more than likely to  backfire, as  behaviors like this    signal  the  reverse  of what makes men  confidently  sure a particular  woman  is the one  for him.

"The reality  is" according to Max, "males  choose  partners  based on whether they do one specific thing :.

They go with  partners  who set off  the  instinctive  feeling  of INFATUATION".

Psychologists have  found  that infatuation originates from  a primal  instinct  deep within the brain ...

And for  males , it's either on or it's not . 

When a guy's  infatuation response  is ON , it doesn't matter  if a woman  has any of  the criteria   he identified as his 'perfect match' .
